Theme? The power of HUNGER, you fast, they live
What is it?
· A “fasthaton” camp – Go without solid food for 30 hours.
· A unique education cum fundraising event – focusing on HIV/AIDS issues
What does it do?
· Raise funds for humanitarian projects to help poor children and communities in need
Where will the money go?
· HIV education programmes for children and adults in Hebei, China
· Local HIV/AIDS organisations
· Dignity and Services, a local organisation that helps people with learning disabilities
What are the programmes?
· Awareness programmes focusing on HIV/AIDS and related issues
· Ice breaker, games & team building exercises
· Hands-on involvement in local community work & practise of knowledge gained
